Mine Online Frequently Asked Question ( FAQ'S)
The
following is a list of frequently asked questions (FAQ’s)
about Sell Mine Online.
It is expected that this list will be updated
frequently, so please check back often.
We
are a new online service that has recently reached national
media attention as an auction facilitator, placing homes,
vacation rentals, cars, fine art, antiques, collectibles and
other items on established 24 hr auction sites, where people
bid against millions of others around the world.
We
will set up an appointment to meet with you to discuss your
needs and wants and to review the items that you would like
to place online.
We
will review the Sell Mine Online contract in detail and
address any of your questions and concerns.
We
will then take digital photographs of your item(s) and help
you to establish a reserve price if needed. (Reserve price
is the least you would sell the item for.)
We
will then work together in writing up the description(s) for
your item(s) and process the photographs online. This also
includes inputting the basic information for your auctions,
monitoring them from start to finish and answering all
e-mail inquiries on your behalf.
Sell
Mine Online will then send a winning confirmation notice via
e-mail to the high bidder if the reserve price is met. If
the auction does not result in a successful sale, we will
then discuss additional options such as re-listing the item,
lowering the reserve price (or both), and notifying high
bidders to determine if anyone is interested in reaching a
mutual sale price agreement.
When
payment arrives (which includes shipping charges at the
buyers cost), Sell Mine Online will deposit payment and wait
for funds to clear. We will then hand deliver or mail your
check and pick up the items that will be delivered to the
shipping department.
Sell
Mine Online sends an e-mail confirmation to the purchaser
with any applicable tracking number(s) associated with the
shipment and delivery of the item.
Sell
Mine Online charges a non-refundable upfront administrative
fee, which includes those fees charged by online auction
sites. There is
also a charge based on a percentage of the final selling
price
Pictures
sell merchandise and we use digital cameras with the highest
resolution to take photographs of your items. We shoot the
photographs, load them into the computer, convert them to a
JPEG format and size them down to no larger than 500 X 375
pixels. Larger digital images take longer to download,
making the photographs slow to appear, perhaps even slowing
the download of the entire ad. That’s why our pictures are
no larger than 500 X 375
Once
the images are ready for publication, we store them at a
website. That gives them a URL. To upload the photographs to
a storage place (website), we use the File Transfer Protocol
(FTP). We then add the URL to the description under the Sell
Your Item form. This allows for pictures to be included with
text under the description section of the auction.
